Outcome

Background
According to a satisfaction survey, 65% of HR and store managers reported that they are unable to forward resumes directly through the app and have to take screenshots to share, which is inefficient and negatively impacts product usage and user engagement.
Objectives and Metrics
Target Audience: Talent-seeking enterprises.
Product Metric: Achieve an 80% usage rate for the resume forwarding feature.
Business Goal: Increase feature usage and enhance user satisfaction.
Problem Breakdown
Review the product dashboard focused on data analysis related to “resume operations" (e.g., viewing resumes, clicking the share button). It was found that 81.8% of the usage issues were from HR at chain enterprises.
Solution
A build resume sharing feature, allowing HR to forward resumes via email, messaging, or collaboration tools, with two methods of operation:
• Forward resumes within the chat: HR can directly share candidate information during discussions with supervisors.
• Forward resumes from the contact record entry: HR can filter candidates and forward resumes directly, ensuring a smoother process.
Results
After the product was launched, the initial feature usage rate was only 0.02%. Analysis showed that 70% of HR users clicked ‘View Resume’ before forwarding the resume, but the feature was hidden in the forwarding process, which led to the low usage rate.

▲ 70% of HR users clicked ‘View Resume’ before forwarding the resume.
Optimization
• A “View Resume" feature was added to the process, improving operational intuitiveness.
• After optimization, the usage rate of the resume forwarding feature increased to 13%, significantly improving the resume sharing process for HR and enhancing recruitment efficiency.
